TAMAGOTCHI CROSSING

Hi, I'm David, the owner of Tamagotchi Crossing! I'm 28 years old. I have enjoyed Tamagotchis since about 2004 when I bought my first Connection V1. Fun fact, my first Tamagotchi was the Peach shell with blue logo and yellow buttons V1 Connection. As the later Connection versions came out I bought more and more. I think I kept buying ones up until the Music Stars came out, after which I switched solely to the vintage models. I believe I have over 50 Tamagotchis now, but I haven't really taken stock.

Eventually I found an interest in the vintage Tamagotchis and bought my first one as well! It was the "Green Camo" US Gen 2. I for some reason decided to name him Chichi (chee-chee), and his name just stuck. I was 10 or so, so don't judge!

As a child, one of my favorite things to do was surf the web and find cool, interesting websites. Some of my favorites were Tamagotchi websites like Mimitchi.com and TamagotchiFan.com (now Tamagotchi.de). These sites captured my young imagination and it was so fun exploring them. These sites had awesome information about everything for vintage Tamagotchis.

These websites introduced me to the other vintage models such as the Angelgotchi, Devilgotchi, Forestgotchi, Oceangotchi, Santagotchi, Osutchi & Mesutchi, TamaOtchi, Genjintchi, Mothra Tamagotchi, Yasashii, and other pets like the Arukotchi and Wave UFO. The site owners were also avid collectors who had amazing collections of vintage models, costing hundreds to thousands of dollars. As a child I couldn't afford a vast collection like theirs, but I dreamed of owning all the vintage models like they did.

They also inspired me to get all the characters in each model. I always struggled getting the perfect health characters like Mimitchi as a kid, but I've come a long way! I have yet to get all the characters on each vintage model, but I'm slowly but surely doing so. I started tracking my Tamagotchi History/Logs in March 2021 and I'm marking down all of the characters I get there. I have raised hundreds of Tamagotchis throughout the years but only started tracking in 2021, but all those previous Tamas will never be forgotten!

Anyhow, as for this website, my vision is to have a fun, vintage-style website like I enjoyed as a child. I will solely focus on the vintage era of Tamagotchi ('96-'98) and not venture into the Connection series and beyond. I want to post pictures, collections, logs, vintage Tamagotchi resources, tips & info, and other interesting content on here. I would love to incorporate my critique and opinions of each vintage model thoroughly. Ahh! There's so much I want to do and the sky is the limit. I hope you enjoy this site and it impacts you the way other fan sites have impacted me :)
