Welcome to my Osutchi & Mesutchi page! Here I'll tell you all about my experiences with the Osutchi & Mesutchi Tamagotchi's released in December 1997. This page is heavily inspired by the website Ginjirotchi.ca. Please check them out!
I originally purchased a Mesutchi, around 2008 or so, in an eBay bundle sale with a few other Tamagotchi's (which I still own today), but I never played it. However, as of March 10th, 2021, I purchased 2 Osu's and 2 Mesu's which I am just now hatching! Please scroll below to see all the content I have to offer, hope you enjoy! :)
I personally enjoy playing the Osutchi and Mesutchi Tamagotchis. They are a perfect hybrid between the vintage and Connection series and I love that. I can appreciate the connection/breeding features which adds a lot more variety to characters, though it's frustrating to have to go through several generations to get a specific character you may want. There are 31 characters available on each Osutchi/Mesutchi, and the characters range from super cute (Bunbuntchi being my favorite!) to super ugly. The characters are one of the best features to these tamas.
The tamas are fairly easy to care for, and the male and female operate at the exact same time, meaning they will evolve together if they were hatched at the same time. I appreciate this a lot as it makes them far easier to care for in a pair. Each generation seems to last roughly a week which is a good amount of time; not too long, not too short either.
Overall, I really like the Osutchi and Mesutchi pair and they are a great addition to my collection. If you are interested, please see my Tama Logs below.
